Electronic Projects

There are many important projects of digital scholarship associated with Nineteenth-Century Studies at Nebraska, all coordinated through the new Center for Digital Research in the Humanities, including scholarly editions such as the Walt Whitman Archive, the Willa Cather Electronic Archive, and the Journals of the Lewis and Clark Expedition; online collections for Charlotte Turner Smith and Thomas Wentworth Higginson; the online archive of Nineteenth Century French Literature; and projects such as the Omaha Indian Project, British Writers of the Romantic Period, and the Corvey Collection, the last an extraordinary collection of more than 72,000 volumes of mostly little-known poetry and novels collected in the first half of the nineteenth century, with titles in French, German, and English.
