This catalog was digitized and provided by James Stauffer, a generous mechanical pencil expert.
The date of the catalog is given as 1936 because the person who sold it to Mr. Stauffer said that that is when it was issued.
That date seems questionable because the "No. 46" pencil shown on Panel 3 appears to be out of place in a 1936 catalog.
The Realite company mentioned on Panel 6 was a predecessor of the Autopoint Company.
"Realite" became a brand name used by Autopoint.
As late as the beginning of World War II, Autopoint sold pencils
under the Realite name.
The Realite pencils were a less expensive line.
However, the pencils were excellent.
The catalog was a single piece of paper printed front and back.
It was intended to be folded twice to create a brochure.
It is much like the 1927 catalog.
The panels are displayed below in the order in which they would be read if the brochure were
unfolded and read.
