Founders of the Autopoint CompanyIn the early 1920s, John Lynn, Frank Deli, and Michael Kaufmann founded the Realite pencil company which was a predecessor of the Autopoint Company. Interestingly, Lynn and Deli became business rivals. Around 1925, the Bakelite Company gained a controlling interest in Autopoint and bought out Lynn and Kaufmann. Mr.Deli remained with Autopoint for the rest of his life. Mr. Lynn founded Dur-O-Lite and remained with it for many years. Appartently this picture was taken in the 1940s. The date "43" is shown in the lower right had corner. This digitized version of the photo was given to me by Michael Kaufmann's son Tom. I added the names to the picture.
