CFEM Scheduling Policy

All users of the Facility wishing to use Facility equipment must abide by the following rules in regard to its use:

Users may schedule additional times beyond the maximum limits above for any piece of equipment in the Facility but with no guarantee of use. Users doing this should mark the times they "really need" with a star to signify it as their guaranteed time. If, at any time, a user who has not used up his/her maximum time on a piece of equipment requires the use of that equipment the user who has used up his/her maximum time will relinquish control within a reasonable period of time.


Exceptions to these rules will rarely be made for emergencies or approaching deadlines (due dates, graduations.....etc.). These exceptions will be granted rarely, users are expected to plan ahead and use their time wisely. Facility Staff make the final decisions regarding all scheduling and may alter these rules to fit the needs of the users and the Facility itself.
