We use Houchen Bindery, in Utica Nebraska
Generally, 98% of our materials are sent to a commercial bindery, whether it's for
new periodical issues, special projects materials, or repairs and recasing. We rarely
perform in-house repairs, unless it is minor repair work.
Staff
There are no
FTE staff in
Technical
Services who
work with
binding. Binding tasks are performed by our LAII who also does mail processing,
serial checkin, and serial claiming activities.
