G. Valmont Thomas joins the faculty after seven years as a member of the Acting Company of prestigious Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Some of his roles there included Macbeth in MACBETH, Boy Willie in THE PIANO LESSON, Feste in TWELFTH NIGHT, Lincoln in TOPDOG/UNDERDOG, Stephano in THE TEMPEST and King Simonides in PERICLE PRINCE OF TYRE. He has performed for The Seattle Repertory Theatre, Tacoma Actors Guild, The Bathhouse Theatre Company, The Empty Space Theatre, New Mexico Repertory Theatre and Pennsylvania Centre Stage among others. He has worked with Arne Zaslove, Mel Shapiro, Daniel Sullivan, John Dillon, David Ira Goldstein, Laird Williamson, Libby Appel, Penny Metropolus and Timothy Bond. He is happy to be in Lincoln, NE guiding students through their training.
