The purpose of Alpha Gamma Nu Fraternity is to provide a fraternal atmosphere for young men at the University of Nebraska. It is the purpose of our fraternity to stress the following in everything we do: love, truth, kindness, brotherhood, and scholarship. We realize that making the jump from high school to college can be a difficult task; we want to provide guidance and help to young men to make this adjustment easier and less stressful. It is also our goal for the men that pass through this fraternity to become more responsible, stronger leaders, and of greater character, preparing them for a successful life after college. This is accomplished by helping the men realize they have been blessed with many individual and unique talents that must be cultivated by giving their best effort in everything they do in order for everyone to reach their maximum potential.

At Alpha Gamma Nu we offer spacious apartment style rooms that feature two bedrooms, a living room and a bathroom. Also available are single bedroom, dorm style rooms for those that may prefer a little more of their own space.

The fraternity has a laundry room with three washer/dryer pairs. Our cook enjoys using our full-service kitchen and prepares meals for us daily. The house has a computer lab and study room available for member use. We also feature a recreation room complete with three pool tables, a foosball table and a weightlifting/exercise area. Outside, we have a sand volleyball court where on warmer days we enjoy grilling out and playing a game of volleyball.
