Philanthropy

It was Martin Luther King Jr. that once said, "Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?"

We at Alpha Gamma Nu ask ourselves this every year and respond with action. Alpha Gamma Nu is an active leader in many community service projects throughout Lincoln. Every year, we organize different philanthropies to raise money to aid those less fortunate. Although raising money for an organization is a just cause, we at Alpha Gamma Nu believe that hands-on involvement is much more important. We enthusiastically offer our help to any need. Alpha Gamma Nu also promotes anyone that is trying to help the community. Every year we are involved in philanthropies like Alpha Xi Delta's "Nacho Fest", Gamma Phi's "French Toast Feed", Kappa Delta's "White Rose Bowl", the "Alpha Phi Open", Delta Gamma's "Anchor Splash", and Alpha Omicron Pi's "Hoop-It Up", to name a few. As you can see, Alpha Gamma Nu never misses an opportunity to participate in other Greek chapter philanthropies and always believes that "together everyone achieves more."
