Alpha Lambda Delta

Alpha Lambda Delta was founded in 1924 by the Dean of Women, Maria Leonard, at the University of Illinois. It was established at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and it also honors first-year their students for high scholastic achievement.

Alpha Lambda Delta's mission is to "encourage superior academic achievement... to promote intelligent living and a high standard of learning, and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals for their unique roles in society."
