Mathematical Association of America -- American Mathematics Competitions

AMC 8

2007 Additional Locations for the AMC 8 at Higer Education Sites

In 2007 the AMC is testing the option of using sites at higher education facilities for students/schools who wish to participate in the AMC 8 contest. The Mathematical Association of America has requested a few of it's member institutions of higher learning to consider offering the AMC 8 Contests on November 13, 2007 to students whose schools will not be offering the contest. Times and arrangements will vary by institution. This worked very well last spring with the AMC 10/12 contests.
The Colleges and Universities who have chosen to participate are listed below. As more institutions sign-up we will add their names on this list. Please feel free to contact the listed representative for more information and details on arrangements for a particular site. If there is no site listed for your area yet, but you are in need of a site, if there is a College or University nearby, call the Mathematics Department and ask for the MAA (Mathematical Association of America) Representative, and explain to them that you are looking for a site to take the AMC 8.
