The American Mathematical Competitions has State Directors to represent them in some of the United States and Canadian provinces. Some represent only the AMC 8 Middle School Contest, some represent only the AMC 10/AMC 12 High School contests, and some cover both middle and high school. They are prepared to answer questions relating to the exams, especially as pertain to your state or province.
- The High School Directors are familiar with both the AMC 10 and AMC 12 Contests, as well as the AIME and the USAMO.
- The Junior High/Middle School Directors are familiar with the AMC 8 Contest. Because there are so few schools in Canada which take the AMC 8, there are no specific Canadian Directors for this Contest. You can direct your questions to the AMC office <amcinfo@maa.org> in Lincoln Nebraska.
