All information referring to Official and Unofficial Administration on the AMC 8 (see code 6.01J/M) applies to Home Schools
Date of
Examination:		 The official designated day for the AMC 8 is TUESDAY the week before Thanksgiving week. For this school year it is Tuesday, November 18, 2009
Eligibility:
Open to any student who is in grades 8, 7 or 6 or below and is age 14.5 or below.
Rules:
The AMC 8 must be administered by an adult not associated with any of the Homeschool participants, preferably by a current or former certified teacher. The Administration of the exam must take place in a public building (e.g. church, library).
Cost:
A $33 registration fee is charged for each school. Examinations are sold in bundles of 10 exams at $11 a bundle.
