The second day of the IMO is now finished as I write this. We saw the
boys this morning and they continue to be fine. They were ready for
the second day and were in good spirits. The IMO contestants have a "party" scheduled for them tonight, but I don't know what that means,
probably a picnic of some kind.
The deputy leaders and their observers moved this morning from a hotel
on the west side of the city to a hotel on the east side of the city. The leaders joined us at the same hotel, and the coordinators were
already here from earlier in the week. This hotel is set for the
coordination phase, which begins tomorrow. Razvan and Zuming were
going to meet the team this afternoon to debrief them. Then Razvan
and Zuming will have their hard work.
The teams/contestants are going to visit Segovia and El Escorial
tomorrow, while the first day of coordination occurs.
