Dr. Glazier is an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology and Graduate Faculty Fellow at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Among his publications are Anthropology of Religion: A Handbook (Praeger, 1999), T he Encyclopedia of African and African American Religions (Routledge, 2001), and (with Andrew S. Buckser) The Anthropology of Religious Conversion (Rowman and Littlefield, 2003). Professor Glazier served terms as Vice President and Secretary of the Anthropology of Religion section of the American Anthropological Association as well as two terms as President of the Society of the Anthropology of Consciousness. He also served as a Board Member and Secretary for the Society for the Scientific Study of Religion.
Dr. Glazier will be on professional development leave as a Visiting Scholar at Princeton during the Fall 2011 semester.
