Since 1897, over 126,000 women have found fun and friendship in the sisterhood of AOII. Our members have a place to call home, a place to form friendships, and a place to be themselves. For Zeta chapter, sharing good times together is the heart of each and every AOII activity. From laughing with a sister, to planning philanthropies, to dancing at formal, membership in AOII is a joy! In a few years when we think back on our collegiate experiences, we know the most memorable moments will be those spent with our best friends, our AOII sisters.
Just a sample of the many ways we support, encourage, and enjoy each other!
- Panda Pals. Each new member receives a "panda pal" on Bid Day. Panda pals are upperclassmen Zeta members who seek to make the new member's transition into AOII and college an easy one! Along with having fun, they'll answer questions, guide new members around campus, and even pick them up for meeting!
- Big Sis, Lil Sis. What could be more fun than getting showered with gifts, candy, and flowers for an entire week?! That's the kind of treatment our new members enjoy from their Big Sisters! The week culminates with the big reveal as new members follow a maze of yarn to discover the source of all those gifts - their new Big Sis!
- Class Retreats. What a great way to get to know our sisters even better! We let loose and have a night of fun, food, and laughter! Each class can plan their own activities, but many are filled with games, facials, and story telling!
