Each semester Alpha Phi plans several social events—many of which are themed parties with other sororities and fraternities on campus. A few of our favorites are:

  • Pumpkin Carvers
  • Initiation Party - The theme of this social event varies with each Freshmen pledge class.
  • Hawaiian Party
  • Revenge of the Nerds
  • Hicks ‘n Chicks
  • Spring Formal
  • Winter Formal - Following hors d’oeuvres and pictures with Santa Claus, dinner is served at Alpha Phi by the senior parents.

Alternating years, the women of Alpha Phi celebrate our parents with Dad’s Day and Mom’s Day. Past events with our parents include attending performances at the Lied Center for Performing Arts with our moms and Husker baseball games with our dads.
