The Big Red Battalion
Army ROTC is the best leadership course you can take in college. It is also a pathway to becoming an officer in the U.S. Army, Army Reserve, or Army National Guard. Cadets in the ROTC program take classroom courses to learn leadership and team building, as well as about the Army and what it is to be an officer. Once a week, all cadets participate in a lab to learn skills they will need to know in the field, such as land navigation, patrolling, rappelling, and water survival. Three times a week, cadets meet for physical training. It is a great way to establish a healthy lifestyle and have fun doing it. The Big Red Battalion is run by cadets, for cadets. Upperclassmen provide leadership and mentoring to underclassmen. Follow the links below to learn more about Army ROTC and The Big Red Battalion.
