Staying on Track

Academic Advising

Every Studio Art and Art History major is assigned a member of the faculty as their personal academic adviser.

Who is my adviser?
If you are not sure who your adviser is, the staff in the department office can help you find out. Stop in the office at 120 Richards Hall, or phone 472-5522.

When and how should I make an advising appointment?
Schedule an advising appointment directly with your adviser or drop in during your adviser's posted office hours. Don't wait until the last minute! Plan to meet with your adviser at least two weeks before priority registration. Priority registration dates are printed in the first few pages of the schedule of classes.
