Each week during the semester, our academic achievement chair awards one lucky member the coveted Rho Rockstar prize for earning a great grade on a test or paper.
Select your own Study Buddy or matches are made by major. Fun awards include: Craziest Place for Studying, Most Study Buddy Hours, and Hilarious Study Buddy Outfits.
The women of Alpha Xi Delta are encouraged to invite one of their professors to Monday night dinner. During dinner, academic awards such as Tri-Alpha (3.5 GPA for three consecutive semesters and Most Improved GPA) are given. Members with a GPA of 3.5 or higher have the opportunity to build an ice cream sundae with loads of toppings in recognition for their hard work.
Local and national scholarships are awarded during the spring semester. Local honors presented at the annual Founders' Day luncheon include: Outstanding New Initiate, Outstanding Sophomore, the Lulu Runge Trophy (juniors), and Senior Achievement. National scholarship applications are due March 15th to Alpha Xi Delta headquarters. The Alpha Xi Delta Foundation awards tens of thousands of dollars to collegiate and alumna members across the country. Winners are announced over the summer.
