8:00 AM WMB/dressing rooms open
9:00 AM Outdoor rehearsal in stadium (open to the public)
11:00 AM Break time/lunch/pep band gigs/change into uniforms
11:30 AM Big Red Express report to WMB to pick up instruments
11:50 AM Van with tubas departs WMB for the Sports Center
12:15 PM Big Red Express must be in seats at the Sports Center
1:00 PM Men’s Basketball vs. Texas Christian University tip-off
5:00 PM Uniform inspection
5:15 PM Meeting and warm-up in 132 WMB (closed to the public); percussion warm-up
in Sculpture Garden (open to the public)
5:45 PM Pregame concert outside Kimball Recital Hall (open to the public)
6:00 PM Depart for the stadium
6:45 PM Kick-off of Nebraska vs. Kansas State football game
10:45 PM Return to WMB and clean building
11:45 PM Band members free

- REQUEST FOR EXCUSED ABSENCE. The on-line excuse form works best with Mozilla Firefox and Safari. E-mail the director of your ensemble if you have trouble with the absence request form giving him or her your full name, date of proposed absence, and the reason for that absence. Check our staff web page for faculty e-mail addresses. NOTE: Jazz Ensemble members must contact Dr. Haar directly for excused absence requests.
- ALL members of UNL band ensembles must complete a contact information/photo & recording release form by the end of the second week of classes. You'll need your Blackboard access codes to log on.
