REQUEST FOR EXCUSED ABSENCE: See the ensemble syllabus for grading information in regard to absences from ensemble rehearsals and/or performances. Submit a request for an absence from rehearsal PRIOR to the absence. It is permissible to submit a request for an excused absence after that absence in the event of illness or family emergency. Click on the appropriate ensemble name below to access the excused absence request form.
Wanted: Summer Camp Counselors
Individuals interested in serving as a counselor for the Glenn Korff School of Music Summer Camps must complete an application form. Please see the link below. Applicants must be 19 years of age by the start date of the camp to apply. Please note that you cannot save your answers and return to this document later to complete the form. Applicants must be a current member of a Glenn Korff School of Music ensemble in good standing or a current student of the Glenn Korff School of Music.

- National Show Choir Camp, June 9 - 15
- Middle School Band Camp, June 18 - 22
- High School Summer Marching Band Camp, July 7 - 11
The application deadline for summer camp counselor positions is 5:00 PM on Friday, May 3rd.

2024 CMB Veteran Band Camp Registration
Students that have previously participated in the Cornhusker Marching Band must register for the 2024 Band Camp by completing Veteran Registration form. The Band Office will acknowledge receipt of the form via email. Brass and woodwind players do not need to play a first round audition, however, you will need to successfully complete the marching audition. Members of the marching band must be full-time University students and must maintain a 2.000 GPA.
Information about Band Camp and the fall season will be published in early July. The deadline for completing the veteran registration form is June 15, 2024 for veteran brass and woodwind players. Percussion in-person audition dates are May 4 and May 11. Sign up for the percussion auditions by submitting the Veteran Registration Form prior to May 1. Color Guard in-person auditions will take place on June 1 with a video audition option. Color Guard members can register for an audition by submitting the Veteran Registration Form prior to May 20.

2024-25 Veteran Big Red Express Registration
Students that have previously participated in the Big Red Express must register for the 2023-24 season by completing the form at the link below. The Band Office will acknowledge receipt of the form via email. Members of the BRE must be full-time University of Nebraska-Lincoln students and must maintain a 2.000 GPA.
Information about the fall season will be sent to students in August. The deadline for completing this form has been extended to June 15, 2024.
