Dr. Neil Shepard directs two Dizziness & Balance Disorders Clinics in Nebraska. One is located on the UNL East Campus at the Barkley Memorial Center and the other, the Shepard Cohn Clinic, is located at Boys Town National Research Hospital. Patients come to the Barkley clinic under a direct physician referral. Consultation services are provided by Dr. Shepard which include a whole dizziness and balance history and physical exam related to the disorders. Findings are returned to the patient and their physician including what is causing the problem as well as options for management. Rehabilitation can begin at that location if appropriate. Occasionally formal testing is done including hearing evaluations if previous records are out of date. Maneuvers for treating Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo are available.
