Alicia M. Davis, MS, CCC-SLP is a licensed and certified speech/language pathologist. Her areas of interest and expertise include language and literacy relationships, adolescent and adult language/learning disabilities, and second language learning.  She spent fifteen years working in school districts in Wyoming, Nebraska, and Colorado before joining the clinic faculty at UNL in 1997.

Alicia teaches the professional issues course for undergraduate students in both speech/language pathology and audiology. She also teaches a clinical module for first year graduate students that provides information related to language and learning. Her supervision responsibilities focus on preparing graduate students in the UNL Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic as well as coordinating school-based off-campus experiences. She co-teaches a student teaching seminar for students during their school-based practica.

Alicia is a member of ASHA and the Nebraska Speech-Language- Hearing Association (www.nslha.org), and currently serves on the NSLHA Continuing Education committee.  She is best known for coordinating a Share Fair for students and professionals each year during the Nebraska Speech/Language and Hearing Association convention. She is also UNL's NSSLHA (www.nsslha.org) chapter advisor.

Alicia is an active member of the University Sertoma club where she has served as club secretary, Sponsorship chairperson, and Club President. She is also a charter member of the Cochlear Implant Support Group Sertoma club which meets monthly at the Barkley Center.
