Brenda Clark, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist at the Barkley Memorial Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic.  Brenda’s professional areas of expertise include articulation and speech sound disorders, child and adolescent language and literacy disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.  As a lecturer and clinical supervisor, Brenda supervises graduate clinicians in the clinic and during their student teaching experience in the public schools.   Brenda also works in the Link N Literacy Lab at the Barkley Center, assisting Dr. Tiffany Hogan with her research in the area of lexical development and reading acquisition.

Brenda received her undergraduate and Masters degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Before coming to Barkley, she spent nine years working as a school-based SLP both at the elementary and middle school levels.   Brenda has also worked with families and individuals preschool through young adult in a private practice setting.   She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA), and is a current NSLHA board member and regional representative.  Brenda also serves on the board of the Down Syndrome Association for Families  (DSAF) in Lincoln, Nebraska.
