Carrie A. Prentice, M.S., CCC-SLP is a licensed, certified speech-language pathologist supervising graduate clinicians at the Barkley Speech-Language and Hearing Clinic.  Her primary interest is augmentative and alternative communication for children and adults with developmental disabilities.  Her other interests include adaptive computer technology, acquired neurogenic communication disorders, and cognitive-communication deficits. 

Carrie received her Masters degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  Prior to working at the Barkley Memorial Center, Carrie served children and adults in a variety of settings including:  post-acute rehabilitation, adult day programs, pediatric outpatient clinics, and the public schools.  She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the Nebraska Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSLHA).
