Dr. Kelly Wacker received her B.S. in Communication Disorders from the University of Nebraska-Kearney and her M.S. in Audiology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 and 2002, respectively.  She received her Au.D. from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry-School of Audiology in 2007.

Dr. Wacker has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including hospitals, ENT clinic, VA hospital, and private audiology clinic, prior to joining the faculty at the University of Nebraska as the Audiology Clinic Coordinator.  Her responsibilities include teaching the clinical practicum courses, as well as providing supervision to students in both the hearing clinic and hearing aid dispensary.  While she enjoys many facets of audiology, her primary interests include amplification and pediatric audiology.

She is a member of the American Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (ASHA), American Academy of Audiology (AAA), and the Nebraska Speech, Language, and Hearing Association (NSLHA).
