Stanley Vasa, Ed.D., is a Professor with special interests in the areas of assessment, training of paraeducators, and programming for adolescents in transition from school to post-secondary settings. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on assessment, learning disabilities, and consultation. He has published studies on the use of paraeducators in the classroom and has received national recognition for his work in this area. In addition, Dr. Vasa serves as a consultant for a number of national, state, and local organizations. In 1997, he was a recipient of a Distinguished Teaching Award for his instructional excellence. Currently, Dr. Vasa serves as the Chair of the Departmental Graduate Committee.
