Project Re-Entry is a grant program providing financial support to master’s degree students majoring in speech-language pathology with a specialization in traumatic brain injury. The grant is from the US Department of Education and provides selected students with a tuition bank and a monthly stipend to support their graduate education. Simultaneously with completing the classes and practicum experiences required for a master’s degree in speech-language pathology, Project Re-Entry recipients will receive select practicum experiences in medical and school settings and specialized coursework in traumatic brain injury, cognitive strategy instruction, and family-centered services. Following completion of their graduate training, Project Re-Entry participants agree to work full-time for two years for EACH year of support providing school-based services to children with disabilities.
