Dr. Albie Micklich

Dr. Micklich received his Doctor of Music from Michigan State University, Master of Music and Performer's Certificate from The Julliard School, and Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Last year, Dr. Micklich was a guest performer and master class clinician at the International Chamber Music Festival in Belem, Brazil, and a guest presenter at the International Double Reed Society Conference. He is a member of the Moran Woodwind Quintet, and Principal Bassoon of the Lincoln Symphony. Dr. Micklich has performed with such artists as Kathleen Battle, Pierre Boulez, Kurt Masur, Leonard Slatkin, David Sanborn, and The Canadian Brass. He has been on the faculty at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Michigan State University. .
