A visit to the UNL Botanical
Garden and Arboretum provides different experiences through
changing seasons. Spring flowering bulbs, summer perennials,
autumn foliage color, and winter textures are woven throughout
the campuses to provide continuity. Yet each garden has its
own special emphasis. Whether you have only a few minutes
for a stroll through one garden, or a leisurely afternoon
to explore them all, your time in the UNL Botanical Garden
and Arboretum will be enjoyable and informative.
In addition to the specific
gardens, special collections of plants are incorporated throughout
the landscape, making best use of the building environment
for aesthetic and educational purposes. Exceptional specimens
are found throughout both campuses, making each stroll a surprising
and enjoyable one.
Enjoy your cyber-walk through
the gardens, and remember, there's no need to worry about
the weather. It's always pleasant and sunny on this tour.
Individual garden brochures are now on-line. Brochures for
Cather
Garden, Love
Garden, The
Porch and Maxwell
