Our Mission

The Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) is an interdisciplinary graduate student organization designed to support and meet the needs of under-represented graduate students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The BGSA provides academic and social resources to graduate students at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln who are under-represented. BGSA supports and participates in scholarly activities that are intellectually stimulating and contribute to building the academic resources of its members. The BGSA also offers a valuable social network that builds on the organization's commitment to mentorship, research, and service.

Meetings

General Meetings are held on the second Friday of each month.
Time: 4:00 pm
Venue: City Campus Union*

*The room will be posted on small signs mounted to the wall just inside the Union doors the day of the meeting.
