WHAT IS CACS?

CACS is a research center housed within the Special Education and Communication Disorders Department at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. We are a team of experienced professionals committed to evaluating and developing services for children, families, and communities. CACS was founded in 2000 by Mike Epstein and Ron Nelson and has been steadily expanding.

CACS provides program evaluation and data management services to local and national agencies, collaborates on federal and state research projects , and conducts graduate programs in special education.
