Richard has been working with the UNL Career Services since 2011 when he was offered an assistantship to be the department’s Info. Technology Graduate Assistant. Since then, his knowledge about the department’s technology needs and responsibility has grown with the acceptance of his current position.
As the lead technology person in Career Services, his responsibility includes ensuring all hardware and software technological resources are well maintained and available to all staffs to ensure their uninterrupted work experience. His other responsibilities include maintaining, developing, and implementing new functionalities for the departmental database, creating new Access applications, system administering for the Husker Hire Link website and Career Services website, evaluating possible new technologies for department use, and partake in other university-wide technology projects. His primary interest is in database technologies and aims to become a database administrator in the future. Richard enjoys swimming, listening to music, and a good book in his free time.
