Education Students Seeking Initial Certification

For currently enrolled students seeking initial certification, whether it is by completing a first degree in education or through post-baccalaureate degree certification, it is essential that you have a credentials file when you go on the job market. A credentials file includes non-confidential letters of recommendation.

To gather the necessary information, you must either attend Professional Development Day at the beginning of the semester you are student teaching or you must make an appointment to meet with Dr. Becky Faber, Assistant Director-Education, in Career Services, 230 Nebraska Union, 472-8028.
