Career Fairs

Career Services sponsors and participates in several annual career fairs. Career Fairs are an excellent opportunity to speak to organizations about potential employment (intern and permanent) opportunities, career trends, and job search strategies. Career Services also provides specific hints and tips on attending a Career Fair.

Career Fair Preparation Sessions
A panel of employers shares tips for success at the Career Fair. Find out what to bring, what to wear, how to approach and introduce yourself to an employer and much more.

Fall Career Fair Week
3 Days, 4 Big Events. Over 300 organizations talk with students and alumni from all majors about full-time and internship opportunities.

Metro Omaha, Metro Kansas City, and Lincoln School Districts are represented.

A 2-day event, over 250 employers discuss career opportunities in a variety of fields.

School administrators interview students seeking education positions.

Education candidates learn about Husker Hire Link, job search resources, resumes, cover letters, interviewing strategies, self-managed credentials, salary/contract negotiation, and Nebraska certification application.
