Youth Philanthropy is anything young people do to make the world around them a better place. The Youth Philanthropy Team Coordinator will lead a group of young people to identify a cause-local, national, or global- that is close to their hearts, educate themselves regarding the issue and then develop a plan to aid the mission of their cause. They will also be responsible for educating other students in City Impact regarding the cause they have adopted and will potentially involve all City Impact classes in the implementation of the plan for action. Additionally, the Youth Philanthropy Team Coordinator will be responsible for the facilitation of fundraising and grant writing and research to support the implementation of the plan. The Team Coordinator will be given the training and resources necessary for leading a successful team of young philanthropists.
