The Women's and Gender Studies Program is an interdisciplinary academic program in the College of Arts and Sciences. The work-study student is an important member of the office staff. The person will assist with general office duties such as answering the telephone, preparing mailings, posting fliers on campus, doing some computer work, filing, keeping VHS/DVD Resource Library organized, checking in/out VHS/DVDs for students and faculty, scanning and copying materials, performing light office cleaning and maintenance, and various other tasks as assigned. $7.25 per hour, 8-13 hours weekly. Visitor Service personnel provide friendly, welcoming and information assistance to museum patrons. Duties include performing general security functions and sales of Great Plains-related publications and artwork, execute projects as specified by the Curator such as filing, mailings, inventories, and some art handling. The Nebraska Transportation Center has a part-time Website Developer position available. Responsibilities include maintenance of the Center's websites and back-end systems, in addition to working with staff and faculty towards the creation of new websites as needed. This position will also work to keep the managed sites compatible with the UNL Web Framework and should keep security in mind while creating web pages.
