Student workers are needed at Landscape Services on our Irrigation Crew. Starting wage is $8.00/hour. Our normal work schedule is 7:00 am-3:30 pm, M-F. Job entails all aspects of irrigation installation and maintenance (installing and repairing irrigation systems, including main water service, wiring controllers, control valves, piping and drainage). Heavy lifting required 50-100 lbs. A valid drivers license is required and you must have at least 7 points remaining of 12 points on your driving record to be eligible for employment. You must be at least 18 years old. Telephone Interviewer - CITY CAMPUS

The Bureau of Sociological Research is taking applications for telephone interviewers to conduct social research – no sales or solicitation. Evening and weekend hours are available. Workers are requested to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week (three 4-hour shifts) while studies are in progress. Applicants must be willing to work four weekend shifts each month. This position pays $8.50/hour. The telephone interviews are conducted in Benton Hall. Studies in progress a statewide survey of former high school students who used special services. The Bureau of Sociological Research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is currently hiring for part-time, transcriptionist positions. Duties will center on transcription of audio files. All candidates will be asked to submit to a regular 12 to 20 hour per week work schedule, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8AM and 5PM. Previous experience working with transcription preferred. Good attendance and ability to work independently required. Must be available to work during the summer. Work at the UNL Children's Center - Assist the Lead and Assistant Teachers with the care of the children. We have eleven different classrooms serving children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of age. Must be student attending UNL with an interest in working with children, education majors highly preferred. Pediatric CPR and First Aid certifications are required within 30 days of hire, preferred by first day of work.
