Career Services staff serve all academic areas, but individual staff members act as points of contact for each college as well as some departments and programs. In addition, partners across campus participate in planning and programming. Call upon your Career Services Contact or our partner in your area for help with programs & events, career-related questions, and more.

Whether advertising your own department’s student job or an internship or full-time opportunity sent to you by an employer, e-mail the description to us and we’ll enter it in Husker Hire Link, our free, on-line job search service.

Career Services provides internship resources for students, employers, faculty and staff. Faculty and staff who work with students seeking internships have several different forums for information sharing. Career Services staff are glad to meet with staff individually to share information about resources, etc.

• Blackboard organization - individuals can sign up via their staff Blackboard account to participate in the organization. Resources, sample forms, and statistical information are available through this forum.
• Brown bag discussions - held twice a year (once in the fall and spring). Contact Chris Timm for meeting notes.

Meet employers at career events or invite employers to the classroom or student organization meetings. Career Services collects and publishes information on UNL graduates and interns including job titles, employers and wages. Use this information in working with prospective and current students and in preparing for accreditation visits. Students, employers and academic departments can contribute information to this report.
