UNL Budget Presentation Spring 2003 - page 8

slide

This slide shows how UNL’s city campus budget is allocated over major academic units. The Governor’s reduction to these programs would be approximately $15 million. This would be comparable to the resources going into the Colleges of Law, Human Resources and Family Sciences, Architecture, and Journalism combined. It is more than the resources of the Teachers College or the Libraries, or the College of Business Administration.

Academic Affairs defined. The budget includes general administration of academic programs as well as academic programs that cross college boundaries. For example, the budget includes the Graduate College, the Undergraduate Honors Program, instructional equipment, classroom renovation, etc.

Other Academic Units defined. This budget includes museums and art galleries, NETV, and extended and distance education.
