Faculty and Delegate Processional Information
If you are a UNL faculty member or delegate representing another institution, you will wear academic regalia, march in the processional and recessional led by University Marshals and be seated in reserved seating in the front rows of the auditorium.
Your RSVP for participating in the faculty/delegate processional and to place your regalia order, must be received by March 6, 2017. To RSVP for the installation ceremony, reception and to order regalia, please go to: go.unl.edu/procession
Arrival information and processional details will be emailed to you prior to the installation.
Regalia Notes:
If you need to order academic regalia, the cost is the responsibility of the participant. You will pay for the regalia when you pick up your order at the University Bookstore (1500 S Street, Lincoln, NE) located in the lower level of the Nebraska Union. You may pick up your regalia order April 4 or 5 from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Payment methods include: credit card, check or UNL cost object (requisition needed). Please note: if you plan to participate in UNL's May Commencement, you may keep this rented regalia and return these items after commencement.
Installation Day Notes:
- 9:45 a.m.
- Stage party, faculty and delegates will assemble for robing and the processional line-up in the Lied Center for Performing Arts Carson Theater. Use the Carson Entrance located on west side of the Lied Center; signs and ushers will be posted.
- 11:00 a.m.
- Ceremony begins
