| The
All-Collegiate Chorus (formerly Oratorio Chorus) is comprised
of UNL students as well as singers from the Lincoln area.
Non-majors are welcome and encouraged. This group can perform
large-scale works with orchestral, organ, and piano accompaniment
as well as popular choral favorites. They may also combine
with other choirs. In past years, the Oratorio Chorus has
sung such works as Haydn's Harmoniemesse, Mozart's
Requiem and Solemn Vespers, the Bruckner Te Deum, the Poulenc
Gloria, the Magnificat and several cantatas of Bach, King
David of Honegger, Camina
Burana of Carl Orff, Mass settings by
Rossini, Dvorák and Kodály,
and contemporary works by Britten and Libby Larsen as well
as the Beethoven Symphony No. 9 and Mahler's Symphony No.

| The Collegiate
Chorus rehearses Thursday evenings from 7pm
until 9:30. No audition is required. All
registered student participants earn one credit hour
per semester; community members welcome. Contact Dr. Therees

Concert
Choir

course number: MUCO 042 / 242 (Credit Only)
class time: MWF 11:30am-12:20
Concert Choir includes all freshmen music
major students as well as interested upperclass students.
The ensemble is open to all students in the University
and, in addition to performing their own repertoire, can
perform with other choirs. Basic sight-singing, choral
fundamentals, and pedagogical skills are taught/emphasized.
