"He Who Perseveres Succeeds"

Eta is the name of the University of Nebraska at Omaha and University of Nebraska-Lincoln chapter of Alpha Phi Sigma. The chapter was formed in 1971 at UNO. A second chapter, Chi Epsilon, was formed at UNL in 1993, but at this time both UNO and UNL Criminology and Criminal Justice students are served by the Eta chapter. Activities that the organization is involved in are planned by its student members on each campus, but often include sponsoring guest speakers, assisting with fund raising for community non-profit organizations, and participating in community service projects among other things. Alpha Phi Sigma also frequently works with the Criminal Justice Student Association at UNL to organize activities of interest to students.

If you are interested in applying for membership in Alpha Phi Sigma, membership application forms are available in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice office located at UNL in 310 Nebraska Hall and at UNO in 218 CPACS. If you would like additional information about Alpha Phi Sigma, please contact the School Director and Faculty Advisor to the organization, Dr. Candice Batton, at cbatton@unomaha.edu.
