Community Advisory Board Established
The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln has established a Community Advisory Board to provide guidance and suggestions for enhancing its programs, curriculum, and outreach efforts. The Board is comprised of outstanding business, professional, and community leaders who can serve as advisors and mentors of Communication Studies students and resources for faculty in the department. A few members are former Communication Studies majors. The Board strives to meet once each semester.
Advisory Board Functions:
- Establish and Maintain Educational Partnership
- Review Department Curriculum and Goals
- Serve as Educational Resource for Faculty and Students
- Serve as a Link between the Department and the Community at Large
