As Chair of the Department of Communication Studies, I would like to extend a warm welcome to you and share with you information about our department. The Department of Communication Studies, housed in the College of Arts and Sciences, offers courses of study leading to the bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees. The department is centered around eight full-time tenured or tenure-leading faculty, teaching in the areas of communication and culture, organizational communication, interpersonal communication, instructional communication, rhetorical and communication theory, and forensics.
