CWIS Summary of Recent Activities
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Campus Wide Information System Project is active and growing. This is a summary of recent activities and accomplishments as of Fall, 2003.
CWIS Statistics
- Over 740 providers have sites on the CWIS server
- Approximately 90% of all departments have a web presence
- 100% of all academic departments have a web presence
- 84 student organizations, 25 fraternities & 17 sororities have websites
- 2,386,971 page requests were recorded in September, 2003
- Oversight of the project is provided by the Campus Wide Information System Advisory Board

CWIS, through the Libraries, provides access and organization for digital information that enhances the research and teaching process and facilitates the development of new techniques for presenting and analyzing information.
