Opportunities and Resources
The Department of
Psychology offers excellent research facilities and opportunities,
including:
 | The Developmental Research Laboratory is
a suite of research rooms that includes two observation rooms equipped
with one-way windows, a video room, and several workrooms for student
assistants. The lab is equipped with color video cameras remotely
controlled from the video room, highly sensitive audio equipment, and
digitizing equipment for the creation of research DVDs. |
| The multidisciplinary
Center for Children, Families, and the Law, which emphasizes the
integration of developmental research with public policy issues
concerning children and families |
| The long-standing
Nebraska Symposium on Motivation, which brings top scholars from
around the world to UNL each spring. |
| Many developmental faculty collaborate
with researchers internationally (e.g., Brazil, Australia, Mexico,
Italy, Norway, Turkey, China). |
