Newly Admitted Freshmen Students
The New Student Enrollment orientation (NSE) program occurs in June and July. Students meet with an academic adviser on their NSE day and register for classes for their first semester. Students who cannot come to campus for this program should contact the New Student Enrollment office (402-472-4646; nse@unl.edu).
General Studies staff can answer quick questions over the telephone (402-472-3605) about the NSE program and the registration process. Students do receive information from the NSE office once they have scheduled their NSE date which can help them review their course options before they meet with an adviser on their NSE date.
Welcome to General Studies!
