STUDENTS

Holly Prendeville (PhD student) is studying the ecological effects of transgene expression in wild populations of Cucurbita pepo.

Tarek Elnaccash (MS 2004) studied the evolution of sexual dimorphism in Croton texensis.

Matt Paulsen (MS 2002) investigated interspecific competition in sunflower achene feeding insects. His work related to the ecological and evolutionary consequences of the escape of transgenes.

Eric Sundvall (MS student) is interested in variation in competitive environment and constraints on the evolution of resistance to herbivory in wild sunflower.

Karin Decker (MS 1997) examined the hypothesis that fluctuations in sex ratios in Croton texensis could be caused by environmental sex determination together with year to year variation in environmental conditions.
