UNL will join Lincoln/Lancaster County Emergency Management in
testing all tornado-warning systems on the 1st Wednesday of each
month at approximately 10:15 a.m. The next test is scheduled for
Wednesday, July 6th. If you have any questions, please contact

 9. NUgrant (research administration system) Info Mtgs. - July 6 & 7

UNL is developing a new web-based research administration
system. "NUgrant" will be used to track sponsored program
proposals (grants and contracts) throughout the proposal cycle
and to provide up-to-date data and reports to campus
administrators about sponsored program awards and submission
information. You are invited to attend one of these "NUgrant"
information meetings: * Wednesday, July 6th at 10:00 a.m.
(Nebraska Union) * Thursday, July 7th at 1:30 p.m. (East
Campus Union). The meetings will include a demonstration of the
features of this system, a projected timeline for development
and implementation, and will also include a Q&A session to get
your thoughts on what reporting needs are most important. If
you are involved in any way with the grants and contracts
proposal submission process, these meetings are for you!

East Campus Universty Bookstore will host a children's story
hour each Friday in June from 10:30-11:30am. The stories are
geared toward pre-school age children, but everyone is welcome.
