Last of the Hometown Media on NET Television's "Statewide" Friday The topic this week on NET Television's "Statewide" is the last of the hometown media. The "Statewide" team visits some of the few remaining locally and family-owned radio stations and newspapers in Nebraska and explores what it means to lose these voices. "Statewide" airs on NET1 Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at noon. It repeats on NET2 Saturdays at 9:30 p.m., Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. "Statewide," Nebraska's award-winning weekly news journal, is a University Television production. http://netNebraska.org/television and click on "news" ************************************************************************* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
